Easy As Pie Ice Cream Split Cake

I first made this dessert last summer for my boy’s birthday party.  I was expecting alot of people and I wanted to be able to serve cake and ice cream without spending all my time serving it out.  This ice cream cake was perfect for the occasion because everything is in one pan and it goes a long way because it is very rich.  It is easy to decorate the top, so it is perfect for any party.

Bacon and Ham Quiche in Phyllo Cups

This delectable dish can be a crowd pleasing appetizer or a perfect addition to any Sunday brunch.  The perfect thing about this dish is that it is so versatile because you can add vegetables or substitute any of the meats for seafood to add your own touch.

Ingredients Are:

2 pkgs. of frozen phyllo pastry cups

6 oz. black forest ham chopped

1/2 lb. bacon (cooked crispy and crumbled) or 1 jar of real bacon bits

Crouton Crusted Salmon

You really have to use salmon in this recipe because the garlic butter croutons used just blend well with the flavor of the fish.  This is a favorite among many and can be paired well with a creamy risotto and some freshly grilled asparagus.

Ingredients Are:

4 filets (not steaks) of salmon

4 cups of garlic butter croutons

8 tbsp. melted butter

4 tbsp. lemon juice

Salt

Lemon Pepper

1 cup of uncooked Arborio rice
