Easy As Pie Ice Cream Split Cake

I first made this dessert last summer for my boy’s birthday party.  I was expecting alot of people and I wanted to be able to serve cake and ice cream without spending all my time serving it out.  This ice cream cake was perfect for the occasion because everything is in one pan and it goes a long way because it is very rich.  It is easy to decorate the top, so it is perfect for any party.

Ingredients Are:

2 boxes (12 or more in each box) ice cream sandwiches

1 container chocolate syrup

1 container carmel syrup

1 jar of strawberry jam

1 lrg. tub frozen whipped topping

Sundae Nuts (optional)

Directions Are:

Lay as many ice cream sandwiches as will fit in a glass or disposable 9×13 pan.  Spread strawberry jam thinly over the top of the sandwiches.  Squirt some chocolate syrup and caramel syrup on top of the jam.  Add nuts then if desired.  Repeat layers again topping at the end with whipped topping.  Decorate top with sprinkles or leftover toppings.  Freeze immediately until served.  Enjoy!
