Easy To Make Teriyaki Chicken

Teriyaki chicken is delicious and one of the most simplest things you can cook for your family. It is great to have on those night where you don’t feel like using a lot of dishes or even getting your hands dirty. You just want to be able to relax with your family and not worry about cooking and cleaning.

Ingredients

1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut in half
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup soy sauce
1 ½ tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

Rinse the chicken halves and pat them dry with towels. Put them in a 9×13 baking pan.

In a medium bowl combine sugar, ginger, garlic, and soy sauce. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Cover and let it sit in the fridge for 3 hours.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake the chicken uncovered in the oven for 1 hour. Make sure that you pour the juice over the chicken every 15 minutes. To know its done make sure the chicken in not pink

Pull out of the oven and let cool.
