Lemon Butter Broccoli

Are you one of those people who won’t eat vegetables because they are too bland? I know exactly how you feel. I would never want to eat or cook vegetables for dinner because I never knew how I could get them to taste normal and somewhat edible. That is when I ran across this great recipe that added and combined the ingredients it was missing.
Ingredients
• 1 head fresh broccoli that are cut into florets
• 1/4 cup butter, melted
• 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon lemon zest
• 1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds
Directions
Steam broccoli for 4 to 8 minutes or until tender. Make sure not to overcook it. Drain.
In small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, almonds, and lemon zest. Pour over broccoli and serve.
