Spinach Dip

Mothers are always trying to find new ways to get their children to eat their vegetables. I don’t know about most of them, but here’s a good snack that will get them to eat their spinach. When you make a great spinach dip with chips children are bound to eat. Just make sure you don’t tell them what’s in it.

It makes a great after school snack and is easy and fast to prepare on those busy days.

Ingredients Are:

1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 envelope dry vegetable soup mix
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 green onions, chopped

Directions Are:

In a medium bowl, mix together spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, dry vegetable soup mix, in green onions. Cover and chill in the refrigerator approximately 2 hours before serving. That’s it!
